Simulator Upgrades

During the past 2 months our Boeing 747-400 Simulator has had quite a few upgrades in preparation for this year's WorldFlight, mainly these have been on the software side, incorporating better programs for Weather Generation, Weather Visulisation and also adding detailed airport sceneries for the 45 places we are visiting.  Although we fly the simulator using Instrument Flight Rules the view out of the window is very important to us, it's nice to have a very detailed world to look at as we fly over it !

One of the latest additions to the software is the ability to get VATSIM ATIS reports directly through ACARS so that we dont have to listen to them on the Radios.
There are now just over 30 programs running over 6 computers controlling the Simulator.

Thanks to Phil at Simvionics I have also changed a few of the Lighted Panels on the Main Instrument Panel and Glaresheild ... Superb work Phil, we will try to get some better photos during WorldFlight.
