UK WORLDFLIGHT 2011: An Interesting Day

Well its been an interesting and tiring day on Speedbird 744 ... the second flight, Darwin to Jakarta was going really well until the last 10 ft when Captain Dominic Mahon managed to scrape an engine Pod and cause an Engine Fire ! with the fire extinguished a Red Faced Dom and First Officer James White limped onto the stand.
On the next flight the Australians ribbed us by asking if it was Hot in Jakarta ? and if we had all 4 engines working ? !

After only an hour and half sleep I was awakened by Andy Keeney to say poor Little Granville wasn't feeling well and would I do his flight ... just a mere 5 hr one from Jakarta to Bangalore !!!
We did a radio interview with BBC Coventry and experienced our first sunset in the sim whilst eating our Breakfast ... what with being tired, being sunset at breakfast time I must admit by the end of the flight I felt totally disoriented , although we are only now on flight 4 out of 45 I don't know where I am !!!!

Therefore it is only a short Blog Post, I leave the sim in the capable hands of Malcolm Wood and Dominic Mahon as they fly through the night from Bangalore to Abu Dhabi ... well I say night, its still light outside and only 3 pm ! ..... See you all after I've had a sleep !
